Ladakh a word which means “land of high passes”, is a region in the state of Jammu and Kashmir of Northern India sandwiched between the Karakorammountain range to the north and the Himalayas to the south and is situated at the height of 11,400 ft.^[1] The Indian portion of Ladakh is composed of the Leh and Kargil districts. The Leh district is the second largest district of India, covering more than half the area of Jammu and Kashmir, of which it is the eastern part.

Day 1 :

LEH

<p>Arrival at Leh airport, you will be received by our representative and transferred to the hotel. Check in to the hotel for a complete day of rest wherein welcome tea and coffee will be served by the hotel. Lunch will be served at 2.00 PM, after lunch visit Leh Market, Leh Palace, Hall of Fame and Shanti Stupa. Overnight stay at Leh hotel.</p>

Day 2 :

LEH SIGHTSEEING

<p>After breakfast drive for full day sight seeing visit Shey Palace – was used as a summer retreat by the kings of Ladakh, the Indus river, Hemis Gompa – believed to be the wealthiest and biggest monastery in Leh, Shanti Stupa – built to promote world peace and prosperity and to commemorate 2500 years of Buddhism, Rancho School (subject to operation) and Hall of Fame War Museum.</p>

Day 3 :

LEH TO PANGONG LAKE 160 KMS

<p>After breakfast leave for Pangong Lake 14,500 ft, through Changla Pass 17,350 ft. (third Highest Motorable road in the world.) Overnight stay at Pangong Camp.</p>

Day 4 :

PANGONG LAKE TO LEH 160 KMS

<p>After breakfast drive back to Leh, enroute visit Hemis, Thikse Monastery and Shey Palace. Overnight stay at Leh hotel.</p>

Day 5 :

LEH TO KHARDONG LA TO LEH 78 KMS

<p>After breakfast drive for Khardongla Pass, world's highest motorable road at 18380 feet. Return Leh in the afternoon, hot lunch will be provided at the hotel. After lunch free time to explore the local markets. Overnight stay at Leh hotel.</p>

Day 6 :

LEH

<p>At 06:00 hrs. transfer to airport and fly back to Delhi with sweet memories of Ladakh.</p>
